Retail Safari at the 2014 CES – Day 1

January 8, 2014

Our colleagues are at the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. They will be sharing some of the hottest new tech gadgets from the show.

They had a great time today and their brains are a little (or a lot) overloaded… too many interesting and exciting stuff, but their favourite product of the day was the LG scanner mouse which allows you to scan an image with the mouse and convert it to JPEG, PDF or even Excel (and convert to numbers). How cool and convenient is that!

Some other cool retail concepts were the transparent display which allows you to place product behind and project product details onto a touch screen and even make a purchase if you so feel.

And finally, Panasonic Air Touch Floating Interactive display – Image appears through imaging plate (like a hologram) and controls the screen through touching the hologram.
