CES 2014 Trends and Retail Innovations

February 24, 2014

CES 2014 Trends & Retail Innovations - Retail SafariThe Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the biggest industry event of its kind in the world. This year more than 150,000 industry professionals were attendance, including more than 35,000 from outside the United States. The Consumer Electronics Association’s President claims that this year CES touched one-third of the world’s population and the Retail Safari team was there!

According to the “CES 2014 Trends and Retail Innovations”, a summary of the highlights observed by Chris Holst and Dom O’Brien, this year’s CES saw the rise of a few technology categories which are likely to be key talking points over the course of the coming year/s, namely wearable, health and fitness technology, automotive technology, curved and Ultra High Definition TVs and the usual suite of big TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers and device power chargers and protective covers.
