IKEA opens pop-up gardens in London train stations

April 29, 2013

IKEA pop-up shop London train stationAs part of IKEA UK’s ‘make more of your garden’ campaign, IKEA has created pop-up gardens in Liverpool Street and Waterloo train stations. These are expected to reach more than 800,000 commuters each day! This is a clever way to create a dynamic experience and immerse commuters in IKEA’s brand.

IKEA’s pop-up shops are perfect for bringing its outdoor products to life in an attractive, colourful and entertaining way where consumers get inspired with ideas on how to transform their outdoor spaces. IKEA UK and Ireland marketing manager Peter Wright said: “Our goal for the ‘make more of your garden’ campaign is to raise awareness of the wide range of outdoor solutions available in the IKEA store that can help people transform their outdoor space with a small budget.”
